I’m currently a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at California State University, San Marcos. This past Spring 2025 semester, I was a Visiting Associate Instructor in the Department of Philosophy at The University of Utah. Before starting at CSU San Marcos, I was a Mellon Faculty Fellow in the Humanities at University of California, Irvine. I earned my PhD in philosophy from UC Irvine in June of 2023.
My research is focused on topics in social metaphysics and social epistemology, and their connections with topics in philosophy of language, mind, and science. My work is animated by my interest in understanding what a distinctively social explanation could be, and what the implications of such an explanation might be.
